Monday Musing

I am currently well on my way to determining the essentials for a perfect summer. In my mind, it has little to do with beaches and heat. Instead, my perfect summer looks much more like something from an Enid Blyton novel. For instance, it is no lie to say that my kitchen currently abounds with bottles of ginger beer and home-made ginger snaps. Sadly, I have yet to break any smuggling rings, although a childhood spent immersed in The Famous Five has made me more than qualified to do so. But my lack of crime solving has at least left me with plenty of reading time. True to form, I have devoted most of my summer to diminishing my To Read pile (although obviously replacing any read books with new purchases). The perfect way to spend time (and money).

I hope that this summer finds you all feeling equally fulfilled!
